Selecting A Supreme Court Justice

It was time to select a new Supreme Court Justice in the nation of Blunderfield, a selection so important, it could affect this nation for the next 25-years.

But one political party was in control and it selected Bonzo, a gorilla as nominee.

A hearing was held to evaluate Bonzo’s qualifications and the opposing political party asked questions, but Bonzo only answered in grunts.

“That’s good enough for us,” replied the ruling party, and it confirmed Bonzo to the Supreme Court.

“What about what we think,” asked the people of Blunderfield, but the ruling party was silent, except for one brave soul who said, “If you don’t like it, move to the U.S. where no Supreme Court Justice nominee can be forced upon the people.”
