The Price Of Freedom

Genovia was renowned for its democracy. But today, it is ruled by Emperor Hudson, a brutal and bombastic man with little compassion for others.

How did this happen? To find out I asked Professor Willis Blunderfield.

And The Angel Spoke

Deeply troubled by the terrible issues confronting us, I sought silence and solitude and in prayer, asked an Angel how to deal with them.

“You can get angry,” she replied in her soft and gentle voice, “But all you will do is frustrate yourself, and you will fail to change the world.”

Scandals In Santa's Workshop

The North Pole is abuzz as the news media converged on Santa's workshop.

For despite his marriage, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer allegedly had affairs with two other female reindeer, one of them a porn star.

And Rudolph is also accused of having another of Santa's reindeer, Blitzer pay hush money to cover-up these lurid affairs, money allegedly stolen from Santa.

What constitutes safety?

This Is Real: In less than 10-minutes, an 11-year-old Florida boy hacked into a replica of the state elections website and changed the election results.

Fable: Stunned by this news, I met with U.S. Chief of National Security, General Willis "Mad Dog" Blunderfield.

"General Blunderfield, isn't our electoral system not only at risk from domestic and foreign powers, but also from middle school children?"

A Very Merry Corporate Christmas

The Trump administration’s 2017 U.S. tax cuts are a financial bonanza for many giant companies, giving them billions of dollars for years to come.

Recently, I visited Santa in his workshop as he and his elves were busy building a new and much larger sleigh. They were also recruiting more reindeer.

“Why are you doing this Santa,“ I asked.

A Bank That Robbed Itself

In 2016, a huge Wells Fargo scandal broke. The bank had robbed many of its customers by secretly creating false accounts and charging them fees on those accounts. Despite the bank being forced to reimburse its customers the CEO received a 36% raise to $17.6-million. In recent months, the bank revealed it has been defrauding customers on auto and home loans.

Wondering why this happened, I asked famed Professor Dr. Willis Blunderfield.

Cheap Charlie

Cheap Charlie, as he was known, saved his money, never sharing with others.

On his death bed, he told his wife to bury the money with him because he couldn’t stand the thought of parting with it.

What if Jesus Didn’t Die For Your Sins?

“What if Jesus didn’t die for your sins,” I asked His Eminence.

“Some scholars today,” I said, “Say that right after Jesus’ death, there was the belief God would act against those who took his life, and against other evil doers.”

“When that didn’t happen," I continued, "The claim became Jesus died for your sins. But what if that claim was false too?”

Does Love Cause Suffering?

”With attachment is suffering,” said the Buddhist monk. “Let go of attachment to people, places and things and you will suffer much less.”

“Yes, but because I love others,” I said, “Such as my family, I form attachments.“

“How could I be God,” I skeptically answered. “I’m just a man.”

The Answer To Gun Violence

“The answer to bad guys with guns, is good guys with guns,“ said the sage from the giant gun organization.

I went to him because the US is in the throes of horrific gun violence, as it has been for so long, and I hoped for solutions.

“So we can finally end this violence,“ I happily replied. “Of course,“ he answered.

Muhammad On War

"Permission to fight is given to those who are fought against because they have been wronged -truly Allah has the power to come to their support- those who were expelled from their homes without any right, merely for saying, 'Our Lord is Allah'..." (Quran, 22:39-40)"

As a peace seeker, and one who is hopeful for the well-being of the Muslims, I imagined this dialogue with Muhammad. It begins with the question: does he still support this Quran quote. There is also the additional question of the violence committed by Muslim extremists in the name of Allah.

Jesus On War

Once again I met Jesus, this time while he was washing dishes in a diner. “Jesus, it is so nice to see you again,” I said.

“Thank you my son,” he answered. “What is troubling you?”

“War,“ I replied. “War is destroying us, and this despite your biblical quotes urging mankind to turn the other cheek, and to love and forgive one-another.”

“What can we do to stop these wars and bring peace to the world,“ I asked Jesus.

A Message From Jesus

Seeing all the chaos and cruelty in the world, Jesus decided to speak to mankind, and asked for television time.

“It doesn’t work that way,” replied the television networks. “You have to have an agent and there needs to be time to promote the event.”

"But this is vital," Jesus replied. "We must change the world." "Sounds good," the networks responded, "As long as you don't say anything controversial."

Where Dreams Come True

As Sid laid in his death bed, he bemoaned not having achieved his dreams, and now it's too late.

The Angels listened and one told the others, “We hear this so often from dying people. It’s very sad, and we should do something about this.”

“I know what to do,” another Angel replied. “Let’s create an island paradise, and on that island, each person can briefly be whatever he or she wishes to be.”

“We’ll start by taking Sid from his death bed, and although it will appear physically that he is in that bed, we will transport him spiritually to this magical island.”

A Message From Jesus

I was excited when I saw Jesus, who some say is the son of God. Being a humble man, he was in the park picking up litter.

”Jesus, may I ask you a question?” “Of course my son,” he answered.

“What is your message,” I asked.
