On this day in history, August 26, 1939 the first televised baseball game was broadcast. It was between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Cincinnati Reds.
Ironically, tonight at Dodger Stadium, those same two teams will play again. To save money for the fans, those two teams will use the same players they did then.
