Hamneskär, is a remote island, 5 miles west of the Swedish coast. It is known for its old lighthouse. Now the Swedish Gov’t has converted the housing the lighthouse keepers, families, and staff used to live in, into a hotel for vacationers.
Wanting to go there, I contacted the Manager:
DK: Do you have Wi-Fi and TV?
Manager: We don’t have electricity, so no!
DK: What is the weather like?
Manager: Freezing cold for most of the year! In fact, this
time of year, we also have only 3 hours of daylight.
DK: Can I take a boat ride?
Manager: You can! But the waters are very rough, that’s why
there is a lighthouse.
DK: Why would I want to stay there?
Manager: Because your creditors will never find you. And even
if they did, none of them would ever chase you down there.
DK: Sounds Great! Put me down for the entire month of January!
