In recent months, there has been a terrible policy from the Trump Administration of taking immigrant children from their parents and putting them in cages.
But the media has not looked at the situation from the cage maker’s perspective, so I sat down with Willis Blunderfield, CEO of Cages Are Us.
“How do you feel about this,” I asked. “I love it!” he replied.
“Between selling cages to prison companies and to immigration authorities to lock up children, business has never been better.”
“Doesn’t all this cruelty bother you,“ I asked him.
“It would,“ Mr. Blunderfield replied. “But the American government says it keeps Americans safe, and I cannot disagree when it is so profitable.”
“But what about the inscription on the Statue of Liberty, which says ‘Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.’ “
“Well,” Mr. Blunderfield replied. “That was then and this is now. As our President said, our country is full. There’s no more room for anyone else.”
