The great sage Nirvala was asked whether there is financial security in money, and she responded thusly:
"Money in large amounts brings envy and appeals to greed."
"Envy and greed from others endanger the holder of all that money."
"Instead, be humble and keep only what you can use to live comfortably."
"Then invest the rest of that money in helping others, and do it anonymously, so that no one is aware of all the money you have."
"As they share in the prosperity the money can bring, they will no longer be a threat to you."
"And as you still have all the money you need, you will be financially secure."
