In the Christian Bible, the gospels reported that Jesus fed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread, and two small fishes.
But recently discovered was the long missing account of Sheldon, another of Jesus' devout disciples. Here is his first-hand description of events:
"For three days, we all followed Jesus; 5,000 men, women and crying children, and livestock. It was noisy and messy, and Jesus could hardly hear himself think."
"It was then he prayed to heaven, his exact words being, 'Where can I go to get a moment's peace? Heaven help me.' "
"And God answered, 'You have got to feed these people and their livestock. They are so loud, I can't get any peace up here either. And the stench is awful.' "
"But I only have five loaves of bread, and two fish," Jesus replied. "No problem," stated God. "A miracle is about to happen."
"Just then," said Sheldon, "We saw a long caravan from Izzy's 24 - Hour Deli."
"They had corned beef and pastrami, lox and bagels and chicken soup and kosher pickles and everything else imaginable."
"Jesus breathed a sigh of relief, and then looking up at heaven said, 'This is wonderful Dear God, but how are we going to pay for it?' "
"No problem," God replied. "I put it on my credit card."
"In my next miracle, I'll change water into wine, sell the wine and I'll pay it off."
"This is what actually happened," wrote Sheldon.
"But we kept the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 with five loaves of bread and two fish because it was a bigger miracle, although even we could not figure out how he could do that."
